KS standard

This is Korea's representative smart door lock that obtained KS national certificate for the first time in Korea's smart door lock industry. In addition, we are conducting an advanced test process with an internal standard which is higher than KS standard.

Dead bolt & Handle Abuse Test

In order to secure more safety of the door lock, we take strict tests of Dead bolt Lateral Pressure/Push-in, Handle Vertical Load/Tensile Load, essentially with company’s own standard which is higher than KS one.

Dead bolt & Handle Abuse Test
Test KS/KC Standard Company’s Standard
Mortise Lateral Pressure /
Push-in
2,451N / 1,470N Lateral Pressure : 2,940N /
Push in : 1,764N
Dead bolt Lateral Pressure 2,451N 2,940N
Dead bolt Push-in 1,470N 1,764N
Handle Vertical Load /
Tensile Load(Mortise Lock)
In case of 2,451N, should endure power without malfunction and enven if it's deformed or damaged, it should not be able to be opened from the outside up to 5,000N. In case of 2,696 N, should endure power without malfunction and enven if it's deformed or damaged, it should not be able to be opened from the outside up to 5,000N.

External Impact Test

This test is to ensure complete quality through drop and external strength test to prepare for mechanical and physical impacts from the outside.

External Impact Test
Test KS/KC Standard Company’s Standard
Drop Test Freefall 540g steel ball from 1.3m height to the product and no problem with its function Test same standard with KS and give impact on (inside/outside) five sides additionaly

Open/Close Test

Durability life test is carried out for various operating parts for keeping reliable quality.

Open/Close Test
Test KS/KC Standard Company’s Standard
Outer Body Button Key operating 20,000 times 30,000 times
RF Key operating 40,000 times 50,000 times
Inner Body Inner Handle operating 40,000 times 50,000 times
Total 100,000 times 130,000 times

Electrostatic and electrical shock tests

Test normal electrostatic as well as electrical impact(Max. 30kV) from out side to avoid a forced intrusion. (Prevention of the source defensive circuit embedded)

Electrostatic and electrical shock tests
Test KS/KC Standard Company’s Standard
Electrostatic 20 repeated discharges per second in motion (Min. 10 times single discharge) 1 Metallic Part-Contact 8kV Nonmetallic part-Noncontact 15kV No malfunction or No loss of function 20 repeated discharges per second in motion (Min. 20times single discharge) 1 Metallic Part-Contact 8kV Nonmetallic part-Noncontact 15kV No malfunction or No loss of function
